I am Yunsong Liu, an Urban Designer and Data Scientist dedicated to leveraging data to understand and enhance urban dynamics. My expertise lies at the intersection of urban design, data analysis, and smart cities, with a passion for fostering environmental and social sustainability through data-driven interventions.
我是Yunsong Liu，一位致力于利用数据科学来理解和改善城市动态的城市规划师和数据科学家。我的专业背景融合了城市设计、数据分析和智能城市领域的深入研究，我热衷于通过数据驱动的干预措施来促进环境和社会的可持续性。

Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Urban Analytics and Smart Cities at The University of Hong Kong, focusing on data analysis and urban modeling. Prior to this, I earned a Master of Design Studies from Harvard University, where I concentrated on data science, machine learning, climate justice, and social sustainability. My academic journey also includes a Master of Urban Design with Distinction from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Architecture from Tsinghua University in Beijing.
我目前在香港大学攻读城市分析与智能城市博士学位，专注于数据分析和城市建模。在此之前，我在哈佛大学完成了设计研究硕士学位，期间我专注于数据科学、机器学习、气候正义和社会可持续性的研究。我的学术旅程还包括在密歇根大学获得城市设计硕士学位，并以优异成绩毕业于清华大学建筑学学士学位。

My skill set encompasses data science, programming (including Python, SQL, and JavaScript), and data visualization (such as Gephi, GIS, and Cinema4D). I am fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, enabling me to communicate and collaborate effectively in multicultural environments.

My professional experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at CityDNA Technology CO Ltd., where I contributed to urban and carbon consultancy projects for the World Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and Energy Foundation. Additionally, I served as a Co-Curator at the Harvard Kirkland Gallery and a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, focusing on climate mitigation and adaptation in distressed neighborhoods in São Paulo, Brazil.
